GCR (grey component substitution), this method replaces all the gray components in the color component with black. Regardless of the color or neutral gray in the image, all CMY color components that match the gray balance ratio are replaced by black. . GCR changes the composition of the color structure of the original image. Therefore, the degree and range of GCR should be strictly controlled according to the characteristics of printed products. "Black Edition Generation" is specifically used for GCR color separation, which controls which tone to start with black substitution and determines the degree of black substitution.
