Detailed explanation of GCR color separation application in Photoshop

In prepress design, we often use Photoshop Color separation settings to get the right black version, the most commonly used is the GCR color separation method. GCR color separation settings in Photoshop

Open Photoshop CS2, select the "Edit" option in the menu, click "Color Settings", select "Custom CMYK..." in the "CMYK (C)" column under "Workspace" and you will see as shown in Figure 1. Dialog.
