At present, Shenzhen is at the leading level in the construction of financial IC card payment environment. Shenzhen ICBC, Shenzhen Bank, and Bank of Communications have issued financial IC cards, with a cumulative circulation of more than 300,000 copies. The advantages of combining financial payment functions with convenience and convenience for the people have been fully reflected. China UnionPay and various commercial banks have laid IC card acceptance equipment in more than 4,000 merchants in Shenzhen. The merchants have installed more than 10,000 non-contact IC card merchant terminals. The business scope covers a wide range of department stores, warehouse stores, restaurants, Pharmacies, supermarket chains, travel agencies, hospitals, bookstores and other industries.

It is reported that before the end of June this year, it is planned to make the financial IC card acceptance of more than 20,000 direct POS machines in the city. Other qualified POS machines will also be reconstructed and can be "compatible" with IC cards.
