The European Bicycle Show (EUROBIKE) officially kicked off on August 26th in Germany, right by the scenic Lake Constance! Ning Fei Company, as a close partner of the German Friedrichshafen Exhibition Company, was excited to attend and engage with European industry leaders. This year’s event once again set new records, drawing over 1,350 exhibitors and attracting more than 46,000 professionals from over 100 countries, along with 20,000 cycling enthusiasts and 2,000 media representatives. The exhibition spans over 100,000 square meters across 13 halls, offering a comprehensive view of the latest trends, innovations, and technologies in the global bicycle industry.
“This is the ultimate gathering for the global cycling community,†said Rolls-Wilman, President of Friedrichshafen GmbH, and Stephen Lessinger, project director of the European Bike Show. “Lake Constance serves as a perfect backdrop, shining a spotlight on the exciting developments shaping the industry this season.†From urban bikes to e-bikes, children’s models to recumbent cycles, there’s something for everyone at this massive event.
The day before the main show, Demo Day took place, featuring around 150 exhibitors showcasing their latest models. Attendees had the chance to experience the products firsthand while enjoying the stunning natural beauty of the region. Three days prior to the exhibition, the European Bicycle Show Academy held sessions on key topics like bike-sharing, retail, and rental systems, bringing together industry experts from around the world.
The 11th edition of the European Bicycle Industry Awards also took place, celebrating innovation and excellence. A total of 500 products were submitted, with six judges selecting 64 winners, including 12 gold awards and one green product award. The ceremony was held on the opening day, with all winning products displayed in a dedicated area.
In addition to the main exhibition, special events such as bike travel showcases, electric bike demos, costume parades, parkour challenges, and evening parties added to the excitement. The event ran from August 26th to 29th, with the first three days open to professionals and the final day open to the general public.
