1. Digital printing

Digital printing has the following typical characteristics:

First, the digital printing process is the process from computer to paper or printed matter, that is, the process of directly converting digital files and pages into printed matter;

The second is that the final image formation process of digital printing must be digital, without any intermediary simulation process or carrier intervention;

The third is that the information of digital prints is 100% variable information, that is, the two prints output next to each other can be completely different, and can have different versions, different contents, different sizes, and even can choose different materials. If it is a publication, the binding method can also be different.

It can be said that on-demand, timeliness, and variability are the three major characteristics of digital printing.

Second, digital proofing

The so-called digital proofing is to output the data of the pages (or printed sheets) produced by the color desktop system directly through a color printer (inkjet, laser or other methods) without any form of simulation means to replace the film in the simulation proofing And a long process such as printing, to check the image page quality of the pre-press process, provide reference samples for the printing process, and provide users with a basis for signing and printing.

The surface of production equipment is smooth, flat, and easy to clean and sterilize, with sound corrosion‐resistant property, and inert to make chemical reaction with packing material. The precision and sensitivity of test and inspection instruments comply with the test and inspection requirements of products.
