When these small dots are scanned, they will produce moire, which sometimes seriously affects the quality of the scan.
In fact, there are some simple methods in Photoshop that can try to eliminate the moire on the scanned image. Below we introduce several common methods that you can use as appropriate.
1. Despeckle method
Perform Filter / Noise / Sespeckle and use Photoshop's Despeckle filter, which is the fastest and most convenient way to remove texture.
Second, zoom in and out
Scan the picture with a higher resolution first, and then use Photoshop to reduce the picture to the desired size.
For example, the original picture was scanned with 200dpi, the picture size is 240x160, and the texture is obvious. We used 300dpi to scan, the image size was increased to 360x240, and the screen still had a slight net pattern. Then execute Image / ImageSize to reduce the image to 240x160, and set the ResampleImage parameter to Bicubic.
The net pattern of the picture is almost completely eliminated after the reduction, the color of the picture becomes quite flat, and the quality is improved a lot.
Although the effect of this method is very good, it still has limitations. For example, when scanning a small picture, the scanning resolution is usually already adjusted very high, so it is no longer possible to scan the picture with a higher optical resolution. Nowhere.
Three, fuzzy method
Blurring is particularly effective for fine meshes. Perform Filter / Blur / GaussianBlur to set the degree of blur, but this method has a disadvantage, that is, the texture is reduced, but the picture is also blurred. Be careful when using it.
Four, SmartBlur method
1. Execute Filter / Blur / SmartBlur, first adjust Radius to the lowest and Threshold to the highest.
2. Then slowly increase Radius to the right (to be very slow, or use the keyboard to enter the value). At this time, the color of the screen seems to be smoothed out slowly until you feel that the grain lines on the screen seem to be invisible Stop immediately, otherwise the picture will become very blurred.
3. Next, decrease the Threshold to the left. At this time, the picture will gradually return to clear. When it is less than one degree, the texture will reappear. Carefully adjust an appropriate value and you are done.
