3. When climbing: Suck and spit
Compared to road riding, climbing requires more energy and therefore more oxygen is needed to power the muscles. At this time, although the amount of oxygen in the abdominal breathing is large, such a relatively slow breathing rhythm cannot meet the demand, and the breathing pattern should be changed at this time.
Method analysis: At the beginning of the uphill, you can use the kind of nasal inhalation before the departure; please be sure to inhale and exhale slowly. When you find that your breathing is getting more and more rapid, you need to speed up your breathing—shut your mouth, inhale quickly with your nose, and exhale quickly with your mouth. If breathing becomes more and more rapid, stop the cart and adjust your breathing.
