Vibration test machine motor damage reasons and preventive measures:
1) Loosening of anchor bolts
This is one of the main failures that cause the vibration motor to burn out. Due to the special structure of the vibration motor itself, the excitation force generated by the eccentric blocks at both ends of it hits the anchor bolt 2,000 times per minute. Participating in vibration, the anchor bolt is very easy to loosen. Once a bolt is loose, it will cause the loosening of other bolts or even break in a short time, thus burning the motor.
Preventive measures: â‘ often strengthen the anchor bolts; â‘¡ increase the anti-loosening device; â‘¢ ensure that the anchor surface is in good contact with the motor floor, so that several anchor bolts are evenly stressed.
In the selection of materials, try to use a vibration motor integrated with the shell base (that is, the foot surface is on the chassis). Because the foot surface is processed at one time, it can ensure its level. The shell body is foreign body (that is, the anchor surface is on the end caps at both ends), because the anchor surface is processed in stages and then assembled, due to the existence of assembly errors, it is difficult to ensure the level of the anchor surface. The force is not easy to be uniform, and a bolt with a larger force is easy to loosen, which in turn causes other bolts to loosen and break, burning the motor.
2) Installation issues
Because heavier eccentric blocks are installed at both ends of the vibration motor, such as vertical or inclined installation (that is, the rotating shaft is vertical or inclined horizontal plane), the bearing axis must bear the weight of the eccentric block. If there is no special device (that is, flat bearing) in the vibration motor, it will adversely affect the bearing, thereby shortening the service life.
Precautions: â‘ Select a vertical vibration motor (that is, add flat bearings inside); â‘¡ Try to avoid vertical or inclined installation.
3) The adjustment problem of the eccentric block
When adjusting the eccentric block, the direction of the eccentric blocks at both ends is mistakenly reversed, so that the vibration motor generates a space torque, which causes the vibration motor to work in an abnormal state, which causes burnout. Therefore, when adjusting the eccentric block, we must pay attention to its symmetry, that is, the eccentric blocks at both ends correspond to each other, or the connection lines of the center of gravity of the eccentric blocks at both ends must be parallel to the rotation axis, and cannot be in a different plane state.
4) The sealing problem of the protective cover
Since the working environment of the vibration motor is generally very harsh and dusty, if the protective cover is not tightly sealed, it is easy to enter the dust, causing the frictional operation of the eccentric block, thereby burning the motor. Therefore, in a place with a bad working environment, one must increase the sealing of the protective cover, and the second must always clean the dust inside the protective cover.
5) Ambient temperature
The temperature of the material conveyed by the equipment must not be too high. Because the vibration motor and the device are rigidly connected, it can be said that it is a whole. If the temperature of the material transported by the device is too high, it is easy to cause the temperature of the ground and the chassis of the vibration motor to increase, causing difficulty in heat dissipation, and thus burning the motor.
Precautions: â‘ Keep the vibration motor away from high-temperature materials as far as possible without affecting the operation of the equipment; â‘¡ Find ways to reduce the temperature of the materials.
6) Heat dissipation
Ordinary motor-there is a fan at the end. When working, the wind flows along the standing ribs on the casing. Not only does the heat dissipate faster, but also the dust on the top is removed, so that the motor works in a good state. The vibration motor has no fan to dissipate heat, and all depends on natural cooling. In addition, the working environment is very harsh, and the dust is large. The dust is easy to accumulate on the surface of the motor, which causes the internal temperature to be too high and burn the motor.
