Film measurement
The two colors of film include transmission density and dot area. Whether the film is accurate or not will directly affect the quality of subsequent processes.
The transmission density includes the haze and solid density of the film. The gray haze is the density of film films, and mainly monitors the light transmission performance of film films. The density value of the film base should not be higher than 0.05D. If the grayness is too high, the exposure during printing should be increased, resulting in too large changes in dots and the loss of small dots.

The field density is also the highest density of the film, mainly to monitor whether the chemical procedures of exposure and development are correct or stable. Generally, the high density value should be between 3.8D and 4.0D (the laser film will be higher). If the density on the ground is too high, the resolution will be reduced; on the contrary, if the density is too low, the blank part will be easily underexposed during printing, which will cause undesirable phenomena.
The measurement of the dot area has two functions:-it is a linear phototypesetter, and the second is to see if the output dot area is correct. Linearization of imagesetter can avoid unstable output quality due to changes in developing and fixing conditions. If the film area of ​​the film is not correct, it will inevitably affect the quality of printing and printing.
Plate measurement
At present, the types of outlets used are amplitude modulation outlets, frequency modulation outlets, and hybrid outlets. The parameters to be measured for different types of outlets are different. For AM sites, you need to measure the percentage of network points, the number of network lines, and the angle of the network. For FM and mixed network points, you only need to measure the percentage of network points. No matter what type of dots are used, monitoring, dot halos, dot loss or excessive shrinkage are all important.
