For the sake of profit, a beverage processing site in Yucheng City actually used beer bottles to fill out three “cottage†colas.
Law enforcement officials found that in the three simple brick houses, rust-bearing large iron tanks were filled with detergent dilutions used to clean beer bottles and the floor was messy.
After investigation, the beverage processing site has neither any beverage production equipment nor any relevant administrative license and business license.
The law enforcement officers immediately ordered the parties to stop production and business activities, and seized 2,000 cans of Coke on the spot. The case is under further investigation.
