Recently, Jimei Home and I Love My Home Network held a press conference in Beijing, marking a significant step in their collaboration. The two companies plan to work together on multiple fronts, including building materials, furniture, and home décor. According to Shen Yaojun, Vice President of Jimei Home Furnishing, the partnership is a natural fit. One company is based in Beijing, while the other is rooted in the Yangtze River Delta. One is a well-known name in the home industry, while the other is a leading e-commerce platform for building materials and home solutions. Both bring refined management and marketing strategies to the table, making this collaboration not just beneficial, but inevitable.
"We will leverage our partner's strengths in digital marketing, social media promotion, big data analytics, and smart sales," Shen added. "Combined with our operational expertise, we aim to reduce in-store customer acquisition costs, boost conversion rates, and explore new paths for transforming traditional retail through online integration."
Ma Ziqiang, General Manager of I Love My Home Network, also expressed strong confidence in the future of the partnership. He pointed out that the previous “Double 11†event highlighted how e-commerce and physical stores can coexist effectively. "The idea that online and offline are incompatible is outdated," he said. "With this collaboration, we're proving that integrating both is the most powerful business model for the home improvement sector."
According to reports, the new experience center will differ from traditional showrooms by using scenario-based displays. Instead of static product exhibitions, the space will feature fully furnished model rooms that create realistic living environments. This approach is designed to keep customers engaged longer and enhance their shopping experience. The layout will be updated regularly based on seasonal trends, popular styles, and new product launches to stay aligned with consumer preferences.
The first joint experience center will open at Jimei Dahongmen Store in Beijing during the National Day holiday. It will not only offer immersive in-store experiences but also integrate digital tools, allowing customers to visualize furniture arrangements, view renderings, and place orders seamlessly. This innovative blend of physical and online elements is set to redefine how consumers interact with home products.
