A. Polyurethane Rigid Foam

Polyurethane rigid foam, also known as rigid polyurethane, is one of the most popular types of polyurethane products. It mainly has a closed-cell structure, offering excellent thermal insulation, lightweight characteristics, high strength-to-weight ratio, and ease of installation. In addition to its insulation properties, it also provides sound absorption, shock resistance, electrical insulation, heat resistance, cold resistance, and solvent resistance.

This material is widely used in refrigerators, freezers, cold storage units, refrigerated trucks, building materials, storage tanks, and pipeline insulation. Lower density versions are typically used for insulation purposes, while higher density variants can serve structural functions. However, the typical temperature range for rigid polyurethane foam is between -40°C and +80°C. Beyond 80°C, the insulation performance may degrade, making it unsuitable for high-temperature applications.

B. Ultra-Fine Glass Fiber

Ultra-fine glass fiber is an artificial inorganic fiber made from raw materials such as broken glass, soda ash, and borax. Using imported technology and advanced equipment, the molten glass is spun into microfibers with diameters ranging from 2.5 to 5 micrometers. These fibers are often referred to as "glass wool" and form a network of tiny pores, giving them excellent insulating and sound-absorbing properties.

Ultra-fine glass fiber is lightweight, has low thermal conductivity, is non-combustible, corrosion-resistant, non-toxic, and resistant to pests. It is ideal for insulation, noise reduction, and heat protection in various applications. It is also water-repellent, chemically stable, and comfortable to touch without causing skin irritation.

The selection of high-quality insulation materials is crucial for the performance of high and low temperature test chambers. These materials are placed between the outer and inner casings, directly impacting the overall insulation efficiency. If substandard materials are used, the temperature uniformity and durability may suffer, potentially affecting the outer casing and even posing risks to users. Therefore, choosing the right insulation material is essential to ensure both safety and optimal performance of the equipment.
