The factors affecting the printing quality of color newspapers

Web offset printing has the characteristics of high speed, high efficiency, and high output, and has now become the main method of newspaper printing. However, the high rate of web offset paper waste, overprinting control difficulties, poor color reproduction, so the color printing quality is difficult to be greatly improved. In this paper, the factors that affect the color printing quality, such as overprint accuracy, workshop temperature and humidity, paper drying, paper suitability, ink suitability, and fountain solution, are introduced in detail.
