The main machine factors that affect the cutting quality of paper

The cutting size of the paper is not satisfactory, cutting is skewed, there are knife marks on the cuts, there is a knife phenomenon, and the problems such as the length of the paper after the cut is short are common cutting quality problems. Miscellaneous, paper deformation, inaccurate relative positions of paper baskets and paper feeders, and inequality of paper creases, other major influencing factors are as follows:

1. Paper cutter factors

(1) The reference line for cutting the paper size on the paper feeder is the back gauge, which should be parallel to the cutting line and perpendicular to the table.

(2) The knife should fall perpendicular to the table when the knife is dropped. The knife edge of the knife should be parallel to the table and adjusted to a certain height.

(3) The paper press should be able to adjust the pressure and keep it stable according to the cutting requirements. Generally, the gauge pressure should be in the range of 4 to 10 MPa, and it must not exceed 15 MPa. This is the premise of guaranteeing the cutting quality.

Therefore, when installing and adjusting the paper cutter, the above parts should be accurately adjusted. Otherwise, the cutting specifications will not meet the requirements or be skewed.

2. Incorrect adjustment of knife and knife

There will be knife fell out of place, resulting in a knife phenomenon; knife falling height is too low, so that knife marks too deep, the formation of incision is not clean or broken knife, cutting knife into the normal depth of the knife is 0.5 ~ 1mm; blade becomes blunt and the blade is not flat also easy to produce even knife or incision is not smooth and so on.

3. There is a small notch in the blade, and a knife cut appears at the cutting edge.

4. Causes paper to be cut short and long

(1) The cutting edge of the knife is blunt, and it is easy to pull out the surface layer of the cutting piece to make the specifications inconsistent.

(2) The knife is not perpendicular to the table.

(3) The front surface of the sheet feeder is not perpendicular to the surface of the table, the sheet feeder is leaned forward, and the length and length of the sheet bundle after cutting are short; the sheet feeder is leaned backward and the stack of paper after cutting is short and long.

(4) The higher the paper roll, the greater the pressure of the paper press, and the larger the paper cutter's anti-cutter, which increases the bending deformation of the paper roll, and the length and length of the paper roll after cutting. Therefore, the paper stack height should be controlled below 100mm. The thickness of the paper is different, and the corresponding cutting height should also be adjusted appropriately.

(5) The pressure of the paper press should follow the nature of the paper being cut. The size and number of specifications vary, and in order to achieve accurate cutting, the paper must be pressed with a paper press. When the general paper is cut, the pressure of the paper press should be larger; when cutting the hard paper or paper board, the pressure of the paper press should be smaller.
