Easily control the temperature uniformity of the blast drying oven

The electric blast drying oven (hereinafter referred to as drying oven) is a widely used laboratory instrument and production process equipment. In recent years, there have been more and more orders for drying ovens at 400 degrees. Although the "temperature uniformity" index of the drying ovens produced below 400 degrees in the past can also meet the standard requirements, they are always more critical. It may exceed the standard. Recently, we have adopted a series of improvement measures for drying ovens above 400 degrees, so that "temperature uniformity" has been greatly improved. The industry standard stipulates that the temperature uniformity index of the product is plus or minus 2.5% of the maximum temperature, and this index is basically maintained at plus or minus 1.5 after the improvement, which makes this index have a greater improvement. We have mainly taken the following measures:

1. Improve the airflow organization structure of the drying oven:

The quality index of the "temperature uniformity" of the drying oven mainly depends on the structure of the air flow. The drying box usually adopts a single air duct structure to organize the airflow, and the airflow mainly comes from the centrifugal fan system. In this structure, the design of the casing of the centrifuge and the design of the wind deflector are the key to determining the index. Therefore, we first redesigned the volute in strict accordance with the Archimedes spiral principle. The airflow of the air outlet of the volute can be evenly blown through the heater to ensure uniform air supply. In addition, we have made corresponding improvements to the air outlet and air outlet of the air deflector, increasing the air volume of the air outlet as much as possible, and at the same time increasing the air pressure and wind speed of the air outlet. The air flow can be evenly circulated in the working room.

2. Determine the best position of the heater:

Whether the heat dissipated by the heater can be evenly introduced into the working room by the air flow is the key to ensuring the uniformity of the temperature in the working room of the cabinet. Therefore, determining the optimal position of the heater is extremely important. After many repeated experiments, we finally determined the ideal position of the heater, so that the technical indicators in the box have been effectively improved.

3. Improve the sample shelf:

The single-channel airflow structure is destined for the airflow to pass through the sample shelf. The general drying oven has at least two layers of shelves, and even more special requirements. In the past, the shelves were punched out of plates and dismantled and bent. However, in order to ensure its strength, the aperture density of the shelf cannot be too large, which leads to excessive resistance to the circulation of airflow, which affects the temperature uniformity from the surface. We changed the shelf to a steel wire structure, which solved this problem well

4. Improve the locking device of the gate:

Due to the high temperature of the drying oven of 400 degrees and above, the material deforms greatly after being heated. In the past, the door of the high-temperature drying box was locked with a single point, but at a high temperature of more than 400 degrees, the door is deformed and the door is not tightly sealed, resulting in leakage of the door. Too low, affecting the uniformity index in the box. We changed the gate to double-point locking, so that this problem has been resolved. Through the improvement of the "temperature uniformity" index of the drying oven of 400 degrees and above, we have learned a lot from it and accumulated some experience. I believe this will have a certain effect on the future modification of our dry box design
