In 2003, Asian corrugated board production increased to 48.6 billion square meters, 7.3 billion square meters more than North America's 41.3 billion square meters, which led to the world's largest corrugated board production area.

From the growth rate of corrugated board production, Asia is not only far higher than Europe and North America, but also significantly higher than the world average.
