This report analyzes the scale of printing listed companies, and calculates the closing market value of printing enterprises listed in China and overseas in 2012 and listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen, respectively, based on the closing price on December 31, 2012.

The report pointed out that in 2012, the national publishing, printing and distribution services realized operating income of 1,663.53 billion yuan, an increase of 14.2% over 2011; the added value was 461.70 billion yuan, an increase of 14.8%; the total profit was 131.74 billion yuan, an increase of 16.8%. The total number of prints in books, newspapers and periodicals has slowed down, the publishing situation of electronic publications has become better, and the revenue of digital publishing has exceeded 10% in the whole industry.

The total market capitalization of 10 printing and listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen listed in the market capitalization totaled 41.59 billion yuan, an increase of 5.27 billion yuan, an increase of 14.5%; accounting for 27.7% of all publishing and printing listed companies, an increase of 3.9 percentage points .
