In this memorandum, Britain and Thailand announced that they will increase technology transfer and joint ventures to jointly improve renewable energy technologies. The first phase of the plan includes reviewing the development of cost-effective power generation plans in Thailand's forest areas without prejudice to the ecological environment, and holding seminars that are in line with the commercialization of renewable energy technologies. In addition, the two countries initially agreed to cooperate in the project also includes: sharing non-confidential related scientific and technological information and research and development results; scientific, technical and other professional personnel exchanges; holding special meetings or seminars.
Wilson also announced that the British government will provide a total of 15 million pounds in subsidies for the new phase of the "renewable" energy research and development program, and welcomes the British business community to apply for subsidies to the government and actively invest in the development of related technologies.
