The world's first 3D printed CD player sound top

In today's world, music lovers often choose between a record player, a CD player, or an iPod to enjoy their favorite tunes. But soon, you might have a brand-new option: a 3D printed music player. Recently, a passionate 3D printing enthusiast named "Creater Andrei" and his team created the world’s first 3D printed CD player, and the sound quality is truly impressive. Andrei has been deeply involved in audio equipment for over 12 years. He’s not just a casual listener — he's a true audiophile. “I’ve always been obsessed with sound, music, and building or modifying audio gear,” he says. One of his friends provided high-end audio kits, including amplifiers, faders, and CD players, which are top-of-the-line but come with a hefty price tag, ranging from £300 to £500 per component, yet they’re worth far more than £1,500 to £2,000. Recently, Andrei acquired a MakerGear M2 3D printer, and it sparked an idea — to create custom speakers for his setup. With the right components in hand, he was ready to bring this vision to life. “With 3D printing, you can do some really cool things like vibration damping, combining different materials, and using containers to make composite structures. This gives you unique damping and feedback effects,” Andrei explains. Inspired by these possibilities, he decided to design a fully functional 3D printed CD player. Using SolidWorks, he designed every part — from the casing to internal structures and optical brackets. The parts were then printed on his MakerGear M2, which is equipped with an E3D V6 + Volcano hot end with a 0.8 mm nozzle. “I also have a standard 0.4 mm nozzle, but printing the base and sides takes around 11 hours. If I use the normal settings, the total print time exceeds 32 hours. However, the E3D nozzle is a game-changer — it speeds up the process significantly, and now everything prints in just 6 hours.” The result is a CD player that looks completely different from traditional models. But don’t let the design fool you — Andrei claims the performance is “absolutely amazing.” He compared it to well-known brands like Yajun, Audiolab, Burmest, Sugen, and Cyrus, and said it outperforms them all. Despite the success of the first version, Andrei and his team aren’t done. They’ve already started working on the next iteration, which will incorporate special materials like wood or carbon fiber, further enhancing the design and sound quality. This project isn’t just about 3D printing — it’s about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in audio technology.

Plastic zipper, some one also call it resin zipper, vislon zipper or delrin zipper. The teeth of plastic zipper made from plastic rice, colored by dye and shaped by plastic injection machine. More Durable than Nylon Zipper and Metal zipper, also cheaper than metal zipper. People like to use it in clothing and pockets.
