Mistral folder gluer function module

In addition to the Wonderfold folder, the Mistral folder-gluer also has an Accufeed system. The Accufeed system is derived from BOBST's state-of-the-art Alpina II folder-gluer, which has a carton blank feed alignment unit to ensure accurate billet feeding.

In the CUBE control system of the Mistral folder-gluer, a cassette tracking device is integrated, which is compatible with all major brand quality control devices. In addition, the tracking device also includes a rejector to ensure that rejected cassettes are rejected.

The CUBE control system itself is a computer setup system. With this system, it is possible to reduce the job preparation time for both new jobs and repeat jobs. Among them, the CS version of the CUBE system displays a set of digital position indicators on the wall of the folder gluer. Once the operator enters the size of the carton into CUBE (if the size already exists, simply enter the reference number), the system will show the operator how much distance the carriage needs to move in which direction. Bobst also offers a motor-driven version of CSM for the CUBE system.
